About

Reza Nadji is a German-Iranian artist who was born in Tehran briefly before his family moved to Düsseldorf. He graduated with distinction from the University for Applied Sciences and Arts in Dortmund, Germany, and received a scholarship award from Parsons School of Design in New York. His work on Tehran won the Gute Aussichten Award, Germany's highest honor for graduating students in the field of photography.

His work explores the connection between visual perception and emotion in regard to the human states of chaos and order leading to the study of relation and relativity. His work has been exhibited internationally in galleries and museums like the MAKK Museum für Angewandte Kunst in Cologne or the Museum für Fotografie Deichtorhallen in Hamburg.

He founded and ran the IFB (Institut for Photographic Education) for three years implementing photography into education in various countries  and has been conduction classes and workshops at the Utah State University and the University of Nuevo Leon.

He now lives and works in Los Angeles and Berlin.
